Toyota Highlander 2023 officially launches with new important updates

Al Murabaa Net – Toyota Highlander has been the best-selling mid-size crossover in America for six straight years, and the car just got major updates for 2023.

The most important update includes abandoning the 3.5-liter 6-cylinder engine in favor of a new 2.4-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged engine with 269 hp and 418 Nm of torque, an increase of 62 Nm in torque.

Toyota explained that the new engine will significantly reduce carbon emissions compared to the previous 6-cylinder engine, knowing that the car is also available with a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder hybrid engine, connected to two 246-horsepower electric motors.

The new Highlander got a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, compared to a 7-inch screen previously, and the car also got a new 12.3-inch infotainment screen, with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay applications.

The features include a hands-free electric tailgate, new aesthetic touches in the cabin, and new 20-inch wheels for some categories. The new Toyota Highlander 2023 will arrive in the market later this year.
