Nissan announced the continuation of the development of its range of new cars in the region, especially in the SUV category, where the company introduced the new 9-speed automatic transmission, which puts many advantages at the disposal of customers and raises the levels of the driving experience.

The new transmission in the Nissan Pathfinder 2022 is considered the most advanced in this class of cars, and allows instant changes in speed levels, power and efficiency adjustments when needed. The first low gear level generates instant power to enhance driver confidence on and off-road, while the high gear level nine keeps the engine revving as low as possible to improve fuel efficiency.

The new automatic transmission is characterized by design and mechanical upgrades that contribute to enhancing durability and providing maximum levels of response, allowing the driver better control of the car and a smoother ride. Its modular chassis enhances the comfort and driving pleasure for which the Pathfinder is known.

The all-new 9-speed automatic transmission is controlled by the electronic shift knob, and is paired with the all-new intelligent all-wheel drive system that puts at the driver’s disposal seven different driving modes to tackle all types of terrain. All classes of the 2022 Pathfinder are equipped with a 3.5-liter 6-cylinder engine that produces 284 horsepower and 340 Nm of torque.
