20 years after the Northstar prototypes, Cadillac will return to the 24 Hours of Le Mans next year. The prestigious American brand has unveiled the first images of its future hybrid LMDh, which will be entered in the North American IMSA competition and in the World Endurance Championship (WEC) from 2023. The frame will be made on a Dallara basein accordance with the regulations imposing an agreement with a manufacturer entered in LMP2.

On the powertrain side, we will find a 5.5-liter V8 mated to the Williams electrical system common to all competitors. Together, they will develop 680 hp. For the time being Cadillac has not announced any pilots. The machine should run for the first time in private testing this summer.
