Tuesday, June 21, Citroën put on sale the 50 copies of its limited series of Ami buggy style. As expected, they sold out: all were sold out in less than 18 minutes.

A few days ago, Citroën unveiled a special series of its Ami electric quadricycle: the My Friend Buggy. Close to the eponymous concept presented in December, it was limited to 50 copies only, all marketed from June 21 at 12:00 p.m. As you might expect, copies sold out…

According to Citroën, the enthusiasm for the concept presented at the end of 2021 was already significant, which prompted the brand to decline it in a special series. Upon announcement of this, nearly 1,800 people expressed their interest in this version, only limited to 50 copies. So we had to be fast and efficient!

Less than 3 minutes to buy your vehicle

Indeed, all available copies sold out in just 17 minutes and 28 seconds. The most motivated customer was able to order their My Ami Buggy in 2 minutes and 53 seconds, thanks to a 100% digital purchase process: vehicle discovery, ordering, payment and delivery scheduling. He will be entitled to his copy numbered and personalized in his name.

Sold at €9,790 (compared to €7,390 for the classic version of the Ami) each, the 50 copies of My Ami Buggy will be delivered from mid-August to customers. Faced with this success, the Chevron manufacturer could choose to relaunch other special series, which personalize a very basic but very popular Ami. Marketed in 9 countries, it has already won over more than 21,000 customers in Europe since its commercial launch in April 2020.
