revamped range for the SUV

At the same time as the arrival of the new logo on the entire range, Dacia is changing its finishes, and therefore its prices. The Duster is now asking €18,500.

Following the arrival of a new visual identity across the entire rangewhich is particularly noticeable by the new logos of the brand, the ranges of finish also change, with new names. The prices take advantage of this to climb, once again.

New look and additional equipment

The Duster, the Romanian brand’s star SUV, has received a few more changes than the other models: grille incorporating the new X-shaped logo (or D and C embedded), Dacia inscription in full on the tailgate… But especially new dashboard and new equipment! The passenger compartment finally abandons the five round air vents placed on the dashboard for four more modern oblong air vents. An installation that has been used by Dusters sold under the Renault coat of arms in certain foreign markets since 2017.

Revised range

It is therefore almost a second restyling for this successful model, when it had already undergone major alterations in 2021. And for the occasion, Dacia is even offering it a new range of finishes. Exit the Essentials, Comfort and Prestige/Prestige+. Now make way for Essential, Expression and Journey/Journey+. The architecture of the range is therefore the same, with a stripped-down entry level (16-inch steel rims, manual rear windows, no air conditioning, etc.) and a better-equipped mid-range variant (electric rear windows, cruise control, alloy wheels, 8-inch Media Display with wired replication). At the top of the range, the new Journey finish (for “journey”, in English) adds some refinements such as electrically folding mirrors or automatic wipers. It was time !

With this new range, Dacia takes the opportunity to once again raise the prices of its SUV. He who had already undergone a rise recently, and started at € 17,990 with the 115 hp diesel in Essential finish, climbs another notch. The new Essential finish (with an A, therefore) starts from €18,500 in 115 hp diesel. The orders for GPL versions being temporarily suspended due to a supplier problem, you have to pay at least €20,350 to have a petrol engine, the 130 hp 1.3 TCe. Above, the 150 hp 1.3 TCe engine (compulsorily associated with an EDC automatic gearbox) starts at €22,650.
