Taken from a project box which continues to grow, the future Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 will come to hunt on other grounds than the current model in the catalog of the Indian brand.
Building on the success of its recent novelties, from the Twins 650 to the Meteor 350 via the ever popular Himalayan 411, the Indian manufacturer Royal Enfield is preparing to increase its variations. Yes a Himalayan 650 is always mentioned and that a road version of this same Himalayan is expected soon (at 411 Scram) Royal Enfield would therefore also be planning the release of a new Himalayan 450. A model completely revised both technically and in terms of looks with the aim of conquering a new type of user.
The local media, BikeWale, indeed reports that the future Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 will operate a new platform equipped with a single-cylinder engine of 450 cm3 developing around forty horsepower. A power which will thus be greatly revised upwards if we compare it with the 24.5 horsepower of the present Himalayan 411. According to BikeWale, which also publishes a first visual of the bike, the design will also be more modern and the overall lightened, with Royal Enfield in the sights of the KTM 390 Adventure.
The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 could be presented this year 2022 before arriving in dealerships in the first quarter of 2023. By then, there is no doubt that Royal Enfield will have made us wait with other novelties.
