Designed to panic the lap times, the KTM RC 8C presented last summer is reserved for track use. Produced in only 100 copies, if the Austrian sports car perfectly embodies the Ready To Race KTM spirit, it has no ambition to put its wheels on the road, simply not being intended for that, she who with its LC8c engine offers 128 horsepower for only 140 kg.

However, currently, on the side of KTM the sports catalog is very thin, with the only RC 125 and RC 390 as proposals approved on the road. A lack that the Austrian manufacturer could soon fill with a large-displacement sports car which would take over the engine of the Duke 890 R, with an increased displacement to develop a power of around 135 horsepower while remaining within the nails of the regulations in force.
